4th Annual Ballin For Peace Tournament

On Friday, December 3, 2004 Drew was killed while defending a pregnant friend from a group of 15-20 youths. He was swarmed in a restaurant on Coxwell Ave. just steps from his school. He managed to get the girls out of there and he himself got away. They chased him down the street where they swarmed him again and he was beaten and stabbed to death.
Only one individual was arrested and charged with first degree murder. That individual eventually pled guilty to manslaughter and in 2006 was sentenced to 8 years.

This group was created for friends of Drew's who have special memories to share as well as for people who never got the chance to know what a wonderful person Drew was in life. And take a moment of their day to pay their respects.
