Rep Coaches Needed
Dear Members of the GTA Basketball Community:
The Etobicoke Basketball Association has expanded significantly over the past two years, such that we will be fielding perhaps the greatest number of teams for the OBA championships of any registered club: roughly 30 teams in total across the boys and girls divisions! With the largest number of kids trying out for our teams in our 40-year history, we have decided to form additional teams. And that's where you may be able to help!
We are seeking coaches for one of our boys teams at the Juvenile (U17, grade 11) level OR at the Major Midget (U16, grade 10) levels. If you require additional certification to be qualified to coach, then that's not a problem either. Our club will be offering both Level 1 and Level 2 certification programs this fall - and we will cover the cost of your training.
Other benefits to coaching with the EBA include:
* working with a strong, vibrant, and supportive organization
* making a difference in the lives of your team members and their families
* access to our Positive Coaching Alliance resources
* the chance to attend coaching clinics and development workshops
* access to the full range of administrative and technical supports to help implement your basketball curriculum
If interested, then please contact "Coach Joe" to set up an interview. Thanks for taking the time to consider working with the EBA!
