From last weeks high school action and tourneys that went to this past weekend, here is my weekly top 16; Here it goes......

NOooo way is d'youville behind aurora or dunbarton!!!!

Going into the St. Mary's Tournament #1 team in the GTA not even advancing out of their pool play with a record of 1-2 deserves a minor drop in rankings. But I do have faith in them to regain the #1 spot. Remember that the season has just started and it is a long one.

So basically what your saying in order to stay a top the rankings as number 1 is to go into winnable tournaments instead of challenging your team by going to tournaments with actual good teams. Notre Dame Tournament(Which is run very well by their staff) clearly doesn't have the quality of teams as the St. Mary's tournament. You can be sure that every team in that tournament will have a strong chance to represent there region at an OFSAA event this year. I don't think you can say the same with Notre Dame's tournament. No disrespect, but it is what it is. To say that D'Youville is that low is such an understatement to there ability in my opinion. I don't believe they should be number 1 at this time, but not number 5 either.... How ever I do believe that Eastern Commerce should drop based on there outcome in this tournament. Seems to me that it was too big of a tournament for them in this case right now. Here is my top 15 if you care to make comments, feel free.

No Im not saying that to go into winnable tourneys to stay a top the #1 spot. Of course challenge your team by entering good quality tournaments, but to be #1 is limit the amount of loses by the week's end period. Much less limit your amount of L's PERIOD! But at the end of the day everyone has a right to their own opinion and must be respected. Plain and simple.

I love your passion and enthusiasm for the high school game, however, Dunbarton High (Pickering) is way to high on your ranking. Dunbarton should occupy one of the last 4 spots....13-16 or even possibly an honourable mention. I'm pretty sure that Aurora beat Dunbarton by 18 at the ND tournament a little over a week ago. Pickering beat ND as well...however it is your poll!!!!
