Markham has been falling off mentally on the court and not getting it done on both ends of the court as well. Wish them the best of luck throughout the rest of the season

Hooptowngta... Dont you think that Northern ranked at #3 is a little too high from not even being mentioned in the last two rankings posted to all of a sudden #3 spot? Northern is a good fundamental squad and can dominate on the defensive end on certain teams but, #3 spot is a little too high. Then again everyone has their own right to their own opinions. Other than that the rankings are solid.

Normally teams wouldn't make that big of a jump in one week, but in this girls season, there is very little games being played between the Super 16 teams, so it's hard to get a good read on teams. With Northern beating Eastern Commerce in league play and then beating Thomson over the weekend, it showed that Northern belongs some where in the top.

Nice job on the rankings Hooptowngta. It looks pretty accurate. Keep up the good work!

I would also like to say thank you for taking the time to put together the rankings.

At the end of the day when these schools compete to win their region.
The games will be won and lost on the court.

What I like about this year, is that there is no dominanant team and I truly believe any one of the top 16 teams can beat another top 16 team on any given day.

I agree with you that on any given day most of the Super 16 teams can beat each other.

I should have added a footnote in this week's ranking as to why Etobicoke dropped from #6 to #10. If was due to their lack of games vs. Super 16 teams. At this point in the season, it was hard to justify them as being #6 without any games vs. Super 16 teams, but with this win, they showed that they belong a little higher in the top 10.

I attended the ECI / Richview game yesterday...if anything the score flattered Richview (43-19 ECI at the half). Richview never quit, determined efforts, but they really struggled against the Etobicoke press. Stratton was able to run at will in the open court, and Richview had no one to match up against Casea Fuller on the wing (4 3s and two or three drives).
