A smaller Rimrocker than usual. I wonder if that's because there are now three different high quality tournaments in the GTA that weekend: Rimrocker, SBA, and Seneca. I'm not sure who came first that week but it's a shame that they couldn't be more spread out.

My predictions in the groups are as follows...

GROUP A: This is the easiest group to predict. Aquinas is the class of the group while St. Theresa is well ahead of Xavier.

GROUP B: I have no idea of Danforth is strong but this group is Campion all the way. Since Danforth is tier 2 and Joes is tier 1, I think Joes is second.

GROUP C: Carmel and Richview will battle for first in this group. I'll go with Rick's rankings and take Richview.

GROUP D: D'Youville is by far the best team. I'm not sure how strong Downsview is this year but I'll take the homer pick of Marcellinus for 2nd.

CONSOLATION: St. Theresa over Marcellinus and Carmel over Joes. Carmel over St. Theresa for the consolation championship.

CHAMPIONSHIP: D'Youville over Aquinas and Campion over Richview. Richview wins bronze and D'Youvilel wins gold. I think the final four will all be very close games.

Yes, this will be Richview's first test to see if they belong in the upper half of the Super 16.

I agree with peel fan. Richview vs Mt. Carmel will be the match to see in pool play. Richview plays hard noise defense which can cause problems for the Carmel guards on the perimeter. But we will see come the tournament.
St. Theresa of Lisieux vs St. Thomas Aquinas will be another exciting game too. D'Youville should breeze through their pool play along with Campion. I would love to see a Peel Region preseason finals in this tourney with Campion and D'Youville. Who knows in this tournament, might see an upset.
