As of right now its Goetz vs D'Youville as the top 2 teams. Goetz won tier I last year and is returning most of their top players. D'Youville's bantam team from last year was better then their juniors.

Fletchers, Loyola, Campion should be competitive as they are returning strong bantams or key juniors.

Xavier, Brampton Centennial, Sandalwood have lost most of their top players to senior.

Gonzaga will be good if Marcus Hanson plays junior.

It all depends on what grade 9's each school has.

lol Loyola is garbage, so there's really no reason to say it's "sad" for them, I think an average player would drop at least 25+ on a roster like Loyola's.. and Markus Adams is a good player and hes a good leaper but needs to improve ALOT on his shooting and dribbling. It was a fun game to watch though!

yeah, hes rushes alot, passing a little bit more wouldn't hurt his game either, but overall hes a pretty good player probably in the top 40's in PEEL.

I disagree on the lots of the statements about some scools:

Im from michael power but i live in mississauga and play with the people from mississauga. Here are my scoutings on most the players on Pocok and Goetz:

Goetz: One good player that did not make the team last year but practiced every day this year on his physical build and his ball skills is Prabjit he is rouphly 6"2 but has good ball mouvement and can shoot from any were couvered or not.
Jesse T is anothr player that i have seen play and he was on the team last year. He is about 6 foot and can drible well and has great ball mobility.
RJ is most likely to be their pg caus he has great handles and started last year.
Moussa is a gr 9 and is most likely to be 6th man. He is 5'8 but can wet any shot from any area at any time not only that he can break ur best players ankles. The only problem with him he cant read plays that well.

Pocok:
Pocok has a 6"9 guy named bogdan hes not to good with the ball because he cant shoot nor driblle but hes big.
Nigel is a guy that everone is taking about this year but hes laying for the senior ball team.
Jamil is probably pocoks best player he can do everything u want a plyer to do read plays be aggressive and score on the dribble.
Samuel is most likely to be there point guard gr 10 roughly 5"8 and great handles and knows how to split defense.
David G is there sg/pg first line who dropped 20+ points in a tournament up north and hes only gr nine.
Jonathan C is another pg that is bench but has great handles and can lead a team but sometimes gets over confident and can try to be Kobe Bryant.

LMAO OKAY YOUR AN IDIOT ^

1. Learn to Spell
2. Jesse T, is not 6 foot
3. The Asian guard on pocock is not "rougly" 5'8
4. Jonathan C, cannot lead a team, what basketball are you watching
5. Don't categorize yourself as a 'scout' because you know a bunch of guys on these 2 teams, and you want to boost them up.

I watch alot of peel/brampton/halton basketball, and you are the most idiotic person I have ever met on this forum; Mark Slabiak.. cheers you win the MIP, for the most idiotic poster.

I think a team to look out for this year in Peel Junior is Mount Carmel. I dont think they are good enough to contend for a Junior title but mark my words they will be competitive. They have Tyrell Rodgers, Jason Lodenquay, and the gr.9 Cassidy Ryan as a core.

One Peel team that isn't getting a lot of mention but that the players seem high on is St. Joe's. There are a lot of rumours about a fantastic group of incoming grade 9s and some key transfers. Has anyone else heard this?

LetsJust Set IT Clear.

St Joes- Jerome- big, can handle the ball but no shot but can get to the net when he wants to
Tre- flashy guard, can shoot sometimes but not consistant , key player on joes

Goetz- Rj - Best player most likely , quick , can shoot and handle the ball well,
Jesse- Good fisique no homo , can be a factor in a game
There Center- Quick , Not Sloppy . Can Shoot Apparently

Pocock,
6ft 11 Center- Can make layups , an avereage center whos slow , dont see usain bolt 6 ft 11 players
Have 1 player in grade nine whos handles can hurt someone Jonothan C
Jamil - There best player, can shoot drive , very aggrisive , Can Jump , Can Take The Game Over

Gonzaga
JUST MARCUS , myles not a consistant player but can be a good duo when both on fire. Marcus is probably best grade 10 mississauga

St martins - Garbage
Loyola- Garbage Apparently Twins Aint There
Mount Caramel - Tyrell Rodgers Apprently is Good Havent Seen Him Play But Cant TAke Over
Joan Of Arc - Jaylen Roberts ?
Medowvale shouldnt even be in Tier 1
