Blues-1 Still Has One Opening!!

Half the kids that were mentioned do not play for the team anymore for various reasons....we were just making a point that this SBA #1 seems to produce some great talent over the last five years.
tryouts are based on need, athleticism and of course skill...

Tomorrow will be the last open tryout for Blues-1.

We will make our decisions on how many players we are keeping based on tomorrow.

If we leave spots open (which we may) you will have to find your own way to try out.

Flyonthewall, you're absolutely right, MY BAD....Malik Mcdonald is one of the best all-around players that play all 5 spots on the floor.....again another stellar product of the SBA...

Sorry for the minor distraction. There was something buzzing around but I think Coach Grant took care of it!

We have to declare our roster tonight so this it for open tryouts. If we have spots that remain open we will have to fill them in some other way!

You aren't interested in this team, so why are you commenting? Let Coach Clement pick his team and not waste his time with your lame comments. Stick with Vaughan or St. D's where you can compete.

With my commitment to highschool basketball an assistant job will do me fine. What you say about kobe has been obvious for a while.

We were looking for two players actually and we think we found our SF last night. We still want a top PG but Coach has someone in mind we"ll see how that plays out!

I would say we look pretty good we have pretty good size with two kids in the 6-1 or 6-2 range and a couple of others around 5-11 or so.

As I stated above we are still in the market for a taller type PG. We are looking for a quality player preferably with OBA experience.

You would have to try-out at a practice which is still to be determined. You could contact Coach Grant or myself to make arrangements.

One thing that Coach Grant has made clear is that we will plan to attend a couple of good U.S. tournaments this season.
