These results are not a surprise, when you sent a CIS all-star team, with a token NCAA player (Dave Collins). My issue is calling it a Candian Development Men's Basketball Team. I do not see how we develop players, when they restrict the selection to CIS players, 5 of who have finished there last (5) year of university (Surmacz, Dyck, Dessureault, Bekkering, Jeppesen), very limited future in basketball. To exclude Canadians playing at NJCAA, NCAA II and NCAA is not developing anything for Canada, and probably not a rational use of limited resources.
