Why is that? Why not say DeRozan, or Delfino?

Jack is versatile he can create for others as well as himself. I like his game a lot!

The reason I said right now is because DeRozn may emerge as the season progresses.

Found this on the Mediocre Forever site:

Friday, July 24, 2009
Follow Up Post- Carlos Delfino talked this morning on 1 reason why he might not be a Raptor
"This morning on "Estudio Futbol" (another popular soccer morning show), Carlos Delfino was invited to talk about his future. He said that he was leaving in a few hours to Italy, where they would check to see if his shoulder needed to be operated.
If it does need operation, then he will miss the season for the Raptors and any future games he had planned to play with Argentina. But his intention so far is to find a mutual agreement and sign.
Here's hoping for the best..."

There is no word on the results of his examination in Italy.

Obviously BC awaits the results as well.

If the above quote was originally written in Spanish... and then translated to English by some free on line translator like "Google Language Tools"... you can expect "inaccuracy". Suspect Suspect

I have found in my experience that even the most simple statements can be skewed.

Then again... if remotely true... you gotta ask... why would BC even contemplate an unhealthy Delfino? Question

The guys on this website are Spanish speaking.

But the thing is Delfino could be assessed as not requiring surgery. He has however already been ruled out as to repping Argentina this year.

On another front:

Andrea did it all in this one. I saw the highlights on You Tube. A tour de force!

Italy 91 Canada (Senior Men's National Team) 69

Italy:
•Andrea Bargnani, 28 pts
•Marco Belinelli, 22 pts
Canada:
•Jesse Young, 16 pts
•Andy Rautins, 15 pts
•Tyler Kepkay, 12 pts

I don't know if any of you knew of this, likely you did coach but Kevin Pangos was in Italy with that team and was on the bench last night. I just find it amazing that somebody that young is already put through this experience..

the starting 5 on the floor at the end of the game should be

bargs
bosh
turk
wright
and the point guard goes up to whoever is having a better game between jack and calderon

we should sign a different free agent, if delfino is not healthy we should look elsewhere for sg,sf depth

Given the likely decrease in the salary cap after 09-10, I think teams will be very wary of spending right up to the cap, particularly with second unit guys who want multi-year deals.

The only reason were possibly getting a player with a talent of delfino is because of we have birdrights on him, which, does not affect the cap. To go after another free agent we have 1.4 million left of the M.L.E which we could possibly get possibly an aging veteran but would not have nearly the skill as delfino. Also this would affect our cap so looking forward to next year it may not be the best decision

We have a lot of bodies kicking around we could possibly move some via a trade. That would create space for Pops and might land us a wing to boot.

Maybe a little cat-and-mouse going on with Delfino - who wants what more Delfino to get back to NBA or Raps to fill a need?

Both sides are wait-and-see, don't forget that report that Delfino was having an assessment on that shoulder injury.

I was also thinking about a sign and trade to free up that space but right now it would have to be O'Bryant (what other disposable big do we have) and he A) doesn't have much trade value and B) BC is high on this guy so i doubt he would move him.

Now i was thinking about maybe a sign and trade with Joey? Cleveland says they want him? Maybe for a Terrence Kinsy type guy to solidify that two spot IF Delfino isn't in our sights anymore.

What you think?
