I would say Bellinelli or Jack

But first option should be bargnani

Just a little word of patience especially to our younger board members. We face a very tough early schedule and it includes a four game Western swing.

Do not expect miracles chemistry takes time and due to a number of things that have happened both time and chemistry have been in short supply. We hope its going to come.

Please don't start on fire Triano, trade Bosh, start Jack, no rebounding, no defence, Raptors suck - if the start gets rocky. Be patient I think we've tried to fix things but it is not likely to be a quick fix. It will likely take time.

I'm saying 45-48 wins but I may be wrong but don't say BC didn't revamp. We addressed toughness, defence (with Ivaroni), bench and athleticism so don't say he hasn't done anything, at worst he may have done too much! silent

Two things that I've learned over the last several years:

1] so many things can go wrong... and the season becomes a disaster.

2] things can align nicely and booya... a successful season... i.e. good health, good chemistry, etc.

It's all about CONFIDENCE!

One thing for sure... if confidence is lost... it's very tough to get back.

Yeeehaw A leg lifter for Lebron to ponder. Awesome performance by barnianni , I admit I wasn't a full believer in him last year but now ,.... Hail hail , Andre. Thhhhhbbbbtt to them refs for fouling him out,,, I guess they are a little rusty from that extra vacation.

Board - yes, good game, lots of reason for hope, some reasons for caution too. I'm going to wait until the first 10 games of the season are completed and see what the trend looks like ...

Last nights game is just proof of an example why lebron is not better than Kobe Bryant, and has a long way before people can compare his skill to other legends that have passed or are still here. Had no poise at all. No patience.

Great opener. Nice work by Bargs, shooting over and driving around Shaq, who was two steps slow all night. Antoine Wright showed why he is a major league defender, against one of the best in the game in Lebron. He frustrated Lebron at times. Nice move by Colangelo to get him from Dallas. This team needed a designated defender with some experience under his belt.

Bosh was Bosh -- the extra muscle hasn't hurt him.

Belinelli was a nice energy source off the bench. It looks like the Raptors completely fleeced Golden State, a team in turmoil.

Jack showed he could take it to the hoop. And Rasho gave them a few nice minutes on defense in the post. DeRozan played better defense, popped a few jump shots and made a nuisance of himself on the boards. Nice debut.

I liked Triano's substitution patterns. He's keeping the starters minutes down a bit -- something Sam never figured out. It's an 82, not an 8 game schedule.

The Cavs are learning what Phoenix already knew -- at this stage in his career, and in this condition, Shaq can't guard anyone outside the paint. He's even having trouble guarding in the paint: he can't seem to recover after he shows on a pick and roll, reaching rather than moving his feet.

He's struggling to run the floor and a mobile pivot man with a jump shot can put him on the bench. He's a hall of famer for sure but his skills have eroded and his conditioning is terrible. He would have been better working on his free throw shooting this summer rather than tied up with his gimmicky challenge the Shaq TV show.

Agreed that Lebron was clearly frustrated, and hasn't figured out how to play with Shaq -- he was forcing the ball into the paint before Shaq could set up in the post. Neither Shaq or Ilguaskas can keep up with the other guys on this team.

The Cavs did their best work with Varejao in the middle and a smaller quicker lineup on the floor.

Certainly a nice win... nice confidence boost.

Going on the road after such a "high" at home... will be an early test to their mental toughness.

Win this and the confidence grows that little bit - much more.

There is a phase I hear too often with stats of Raptor opponents and that is "new career high". Today it was orlando's JJ Redick establihing new career high in points scored. Testiment to Toronto's defense.
Really need to improve the perimeter defense. Calderon continues to get torched as he goes under every screen, gives shooters too much room and doesn't have the foot speed to close out or recover. Hedo has the same problem. Hopefully the rookie learns how.

Wish Vince was playing today. But then again, score would have been worst. His ankle sprain looked pretty bad.

Hopefully Raptors can get a win in detroit. Ben Gordon can be a handful. maybe they may catch a break and Rip Hamilton is still out.

Its still early in the season. Just happy the season is finally here.

No only Vince... but what about Rashard Lewis and Michael Pietrus.

Orlando is going to be one tough out come spring time.
