Raptor Talk 09-10 - Exciting If Nothing Else!

The Raps have a very difficult schedule for the first 15 or so games......goes back to what Petro said about confidence.......if they struggle out of the gate and lose confidence we maybe forced to watch the raptors underachieve once again this year.

Question if you had a time machine and could go back to the year in which we selected AB No.1 who would you now pick (excluding Brandon Roy)? Bosh has been amazingly consistant this year and I wonder how he will react if Andrea has another up and down season.......

Roy... in a f'n heart beat.

For many reasons... but mainly for these two:

1) Roy brings it every night at BOTH ends of the floor (if Roy is not scoring he still plays tremendous defence.

2) The NBA is a guards league.

Now for the real tough sledding.

Raptors play 7 of the next 8 and 9 of the next 13 on the road. We sit at 2-2 as we set out on this stretch. How many of these 13 can we pull off?

A. Not very easily!

THis stretch could very well make or break the season.

Winning 5 will be tough but should be doable.

That would give them a 7 - 10 record by end of November.

If they start off this road swing going 0 for 3 - CONFIDENCE might very well be a major issue.

5 - 12 would be a tough hole to climb out of... and I'm sure confidence would be quite low too.

Who's going to shoot the three, someone must of read my post, everyone plus their uncle seemed to put up a three today, good show raps , I enjoy a good heckle anyhow.

I don't see us shooting the three that well on a regular basis.

Bosh has been a surprise at 5-for-5, do you think that can continue? One guy who has also surprised me a little is Antoine Wright he's looking pretty good from the land beyond.

Jose is capable of better. The trouble with doing it by committee is there will not be many nights when six-seven guys all have it falling on the same night. Last night was one of those nights. Good to watch!
