What do you think so far?

Myself I like the direction. Hiring Ivaroni and trading for some toughness are both good moves.

JK was never my man. He passed up open looks and shot contested looks. He drove me crazy.

They want to get tougher, they want to get faster. They are moving in the right direction Reggie is tough, JK was slow!

Next up, the draft! Re-sign CB4!

The naysayers will say they're goin' nowhere.

Bosh is gone. Trade everybody. yadda, yadda.

How do we fix it? I believe we can.

Did Boston give up when they were down? Did Miami? Did Cleveland?

You do not blow it up, you build around what you have.

Bosh said he won't resign this summer so we just have to wait until 2010 to see.

There you go saying "WE" again.

i mean we as in Torontonians don't think i didn't remember my proclaim about Oklahoma lol. just watch next year.. playoffs here we come .

i think its an ok trade because Kapono was a waste of money, he was getting paid waaay to much and Reggie is just good for getting boards.

We talkin' bandwagon here if Raps turn around nuff people be postin' and proclaimin'!

I like the coaching changes. I love the trade we made.

Some other questions aside from the major ones:
Do we resign AP? I say yes....however no salary increase as he's in his mid 30s
Do we make a qualifying offer to Joey G? No......great guy but I don't think he'll ever "get it"

Joey - too inconsistent so from a fan of Oklahoma's perspective (there you go petro ) i have to agree that Raptors should not resign him.

All possibilities that could be a major up. I'd love to watch (again I still love Oklahoma more..) Ron playing for the Raptors because he'd make a difference no matter what, i mean.. he took Lakers to 7 games without Tracy and Yao for most.. that's major.

JK's departure was much anticipated. I forget whether it was petro or bernie2 who stated he was gone for sure but I think we all foresaw it.

In the right situation he could still flourish. I'm not sure Philly is that situation but maybe.

The thing is we're beginning to address some needs. The draft looms large. We need a big strong SG who can defend as well as contribute offence.

I think Graham is getting there I would not give up there were positives this season under Triano's watch. He was Sam's whipping boy and was beginning to emerge. I will never forget Sam braying at him incessantly "Joey this and Joey that". Little wonder he struggled!

For those who keep saying Ty Lawson I do not think he fits that description. If we could get any of the five named above that would help. My first picks of that group would be Ariza, Milsap and Boozer.

I do not feel Gordon would be a good fit and I have misgivings about Artest still!

If Delfino does in fact return we get a fair bit tougher than last season.

There's a bit of a logjam with the bigs we can afford to part with three or so of O'Bryant, Mensah-Bonsu, Hump, Jawaii, Voshkul and Printezis (if he's in the mix).

We would still have Bosh, Bargs and Evans. Don't forget the possibility of signing Rasho.

Really of the six I named how many could we keep? One or two max if Rasho signs with us.

No doubt about that part with Artest! Is head firmly screwed on at this point?

He's a volatile guy for sure!

Rasho if we sign him would add to the toughness part as well!

We are making some moves. We have some cap space, we have some potential trade bait, or even sign-and-trade We have a new defence-oriented assistant in Ivaroni.

We appear to be moving in the right direction!
