lol Bill Russell overated are you kidding me. Not only does he have championships he also was a player coach (winnning a championship) and is ranked in the all time top 50 in the nba.

1. Kobe Bryant (With my thoughts this year, Lebron has proven the be the best, including the MVP award and leading his team to the #1 seed in the east. Still have to give him his true props, though in the next few years or YEAR, LeBron will take this spot, watch Kobe!)
2. Lebron James (MVP award winner and he obviously deserves. Can play any position with his super strength, skill set and speed which is why some many love to see him pay.)
3. Dwyane Wade (Well this guy is truly exceptional. Alot of people say that without him, Miami would be nothing and that is absolutely true and it is always shown, night after night..)
4. Dwight Howard (Defensive player of the year just says it all. Grab any rebound or block any shot or dunk a 12 feet net will surely remind you of Dwight Howard.)
5. Yao Ming (Very Underated player. This guy scored a whole 22 points in one quarter during the firstround game against the Brandon Roy squad with being subbed off. Not only that, but he can be as dominant as much as he wants to in the paint and with that outside jumper, how can he be stopped?)
6. Chris Paul (Many would think he should be higher, and I think that as well hence the reason that he'd always be a true team player that helps his team. But losing by 58 in a playoff game is unacceptable. This guy has to step up his game and prove himself every night with the consistency if he wants to be on top.)
7. Carmelo Anthony (Finally understands the true meaning of a good shot. Now he has it, its a threat since hes a quick penetrater but will always be the big guard on the team that will dish it out. Smart players always prosper in the long run, though only if they keep their minds right!)
8. Kevin Garnett (I was questioning his spot on the 8th spot but when you think about it, while hes injured, the Celtics need him the most than ever! When you look at his previous seasons, you could've even gave him a top 3 spot with that power he had. Also love his intesity on the floor!)
9. Brandon Roy (Grew to the point where hes starting to become unstoppable. Sure theres lebron and kobe who dominate the league but I definetely seeing him winning a ring and getting the Mvp award in the umcoming years.)
10. Dirk Nowitski (Dirk, Dirk, Dirk.. What can i say?? He's amazing. When you look at it from my point of view, he will be contested by a shot every single time and score. While still being able to read the defense it just a truly great skill in the NBA. Now you got Denver on your back in the second round.. Let's see if they can take you down!!)
11. Chauncey Billups (Good all-round player, thinks of his team first. Chauncey will end up with 0 points at the end of the 48minutes, but dish off about 20 at the end of the 4th. C'mon! He deserves this spot.)
12. Kevin Durant (Slow starting team that doesn't bring a lot of media to his team and himself, which changes the mindstates of others. But who cares, this young man will help out any team he goes on with a great selfpride.)
13. Joe Johnson (Very Solid player, thinks wise.)
14. Chris Bosh (Toronto's star player, the whole franchise relies on this guy. Nice jumpshot as well, need to get back on defense, and run the floor though!)
15. Deron Williams (Another quick similarity of Chris Paul.)
16. Jason Kidd (Smart 1 guard, and will always enjoy his presence on a team.)
17. Derrick Rose (A little bit iffy on this one, but when he needs to step up his game, he steps it up. Major Props to this guy.)
18. Amare Stoudemaire (Injured but still close similarity with Dwight)
19. Danny Granger (Moreover the same as a Kevin Durant, probably better.)
20. Allen Iverson (Also injured, and still quite iffy he is still has the jumping out of the box talent as he had before. Got to give him a spot on this so, why not?)

Honorable Mentions:
Tim Duncan
Tony Parker
Richard Hamilton
Shawn Marion
Vince Carter
Paul Pierce
Michael Redd
OJ Mayo
