Will he stay or will he go?

IMO he would benefit coming back for his senior season.

Your thoughts and opinions?

I agree he needs to work on his offensive game.

He could get stronger as well before taking on Shaq, Yao and Dwight Howard.

No way he returns to school.

He already led his team to the Final 4, and he should be a Top 3 pick.
He'll improve in the pros, I'm pretty sure he's gone!

Nothing wrong with his offence, he just needs to see the ball and when he did see the ball it was a crap pass

Top 3 pick in a weak draft.

If Thabeet catches ball outside of the block ( anything 2 feet away) he is no longer an offensive threat. He isnt that good of a passer. I think by coming back he will not only improve his offence but become even more dominant on the defensive end. However, He shoots free throws well for a man his size.

Also, if he returns UConn has to be considered one of the favourites to return to the Final Four and win the National Championship. If Calhoun doesnt resign this off-season.
pg - Kemba Walker
sg-Jerome Dyson
sf- Stanley Robinson
pf-Gavin Edwards
c- Hasheem Thabeet
bench- Scottie Harolson, Donnel Beverly, Mandeldove, Okwandu

The chance to get back to the Final Four and get to a National Title game may affect his decision a little. It did with Hansborough.

Could be a huge bust.

Huge alert... he doesn't have the kind of body frame that suggests he will get bigger... hence he won't get much stronger.

My advice to him would be to stay back another year or two... improve your skills, instincts, learn the game at a higher level from one of the best coaches in the world, get stronger, become the leader.

Thabeet is too raw right now and could get lost. If he goes to a team that brings him along slowly then he might be fine... but chances are he would be selected by a team that would force him to play right away.

The lure of money "NOW" is too much for these kids to give up or pass by for a year.
