Legendary European Coach Jasmin Repesa to hold clinic at Ryerson University

TORONTO (October 3, 2009) - Ryerson University, in partnership with Ontario Basketball, is proud to present legendary European and Croatian National Team Coach Jasmin Repesa at Ryerson's Kerr Hall Gym on Friday, October 9th.

The clinic will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (with registration beginning at 6:30 p.m.) and will focus on individual athlete development with an emphasis on balance in basketball.

Considered one of the great minds of European basketball, Repesa has risen through the ranks, first as a player and now as a coach.

Repesa Coaching Highlights:
- Croatian National team coach
- Recently worked with Euroleague contender Lottomatica Roma
- Won two Turkish Cups and two Turkish Championships with Tofas S.K.
- Worked with Euroleague clubs Slask Wroclaw, Fortitudo Bologna and Cibona
- While with Cibona, was part of a coaching staff that captured three Croatian Championships and two Croatian Cups

The clinic is free but space is limited as this event is by invitation only. A collection box will be made available with the opportunity to donate non-perishable items to Meal Exchange.
