South Simcoe MDP tryouts

Tryouts for the South Simcoe MDP team will be held :
May 26 at Orangeville Disrict Secondary School 7 - 10 pm
May 28 at Collingwood Collegiate 6:30 - 9:30
June 2 at Barrie Central Collegiate 6:30 - 9:30
Tryout fee is $25.00, register online at www.basketball.on.ca or at the tryouts (cash only). Bring your registration copy. You will get an MDP T shirt.
The team will be comprised of 10 players born in 1994 and 5 players born in 1995.
Twelve players from this 15 ( 8 from 1994, and 4 from 1995 ) will attend the four day camp at Humber College on July 12 - 16, staying in the residence. Cost for the camp is $450.00. Players are allowed to be sponsored (Rotary, Kinsmen, Optimist, Church, etc. ) to help pay the cost if needed.
The camp is a development camp with sessions from National/provincial coaches and athletes. Regional teams will also play among themselves.
The South Simcoe area includes all athletes that live West of Hwy 400 and 11, and North of Hwy 7/407, and east of 6,9 and 21. Includes Bramalea, Barrie, Orangeville, Collingwood, Orillia, Midland, and all points in between.
We welcome all athletes within the region to try out.

First tryout is Tuesday May 26th, at Orangeville DSS...... 7pm.
