Oakville Venom: Nolan and Trevon

Markham Gators? Etobicoke Elite? There are alot of teams missing in the top 23 IMO.

All joking aside - Brampton at 13 and Caledon at 22? Brampton has been losing to them for the better part of the last 5 years and yet somehow you deem them to be a legitimate 13? We are talking Brampton losing consistently by more than 15-20 points. Just curious how that is justified, even after looking at last year's results between the two teams.

Simcoe Suns might be higher than 19. Gold Medal (not sure if they lost any players or not) might well be higher than Simcoe as well.

The top few spots look bang on unless there are some surprises out there (and there usually are).

Ranking teams now is stupid and even you make yourself foolish.
Players are changing teams,some teams are not playing OBA,some players are not playing rep ball,some teams are waiting for prep players,some teams are left out the guy's rankings so how could you argue about Brampton at 13 and Caledon 22.

Agreed - it is foolish. It was merely one example of some of these "pre-season" rankings having little reasoning behind them. Heck, neither team might be in the top 25.

There should be no rankings until the season is done. Look at the NCAA, the best teams are not the top ranked teams

A team that is 17-3 is better a team that is 20-0 ? A 15-5 better than a 19-2 ? Ranking means nothing.
