Grade 9's and 10's Playing Senior

Just wanted to know of any grade 9's & 10's playing senior, here is a list of the ones that i know of:

Juwan Brescacin- Loyola (Peel) Grade 10
Faith Ekitikie- D'Youville (Peel) Grade 10
Martin Dixon Green- Pope John Paul 2 (TDSAA) Grade 10
Negus Webster Chan- Pope John Paul 2 (TDSAA) Grade 10
Kevin Pangos- Denison (York) Grade 10
Richard Audu- Gonzaga (Peel) Grade 10
Naz Long- Goetz (Peel) Grade 10
Anthony Bennet- Harold Braithwaite (Peel) Grade 10
Stefan Jankovic- Xavier (Peel) Grade 10 (i think he is only playing tournaments with the senior team)
Jahmar Thompson- Augustine (Peel) Grade 10 (again i think he is only playing tournaments with the senior team)

Jahmatr is playing season games also..
And Shawn Martin is playing senior from augustine.

Larry (St. Andrews) grade 9...
Dapo (Thornlea) Grade 10...
Josh mootoo? not sure if hes senior but hes in grade 9 I think (richmond Green)

There's another kid on Loyola Sr. team from gr. 9 . I think his name is Jaylen. Not sure about the last name.

He has played with the team for a couple of tournaments. Dexter has also played with the senior team for one tournament.

Jon Alexander (Mother Teresa) is doing well in Senior.

Are all the guys that you named Strong players on bad Senior teams..or they are just that good?

Is Mother Teresa a bad Senior team?

I dont know i dont really follow Highschool ball

Josh Mootoo is playing Senior
but hes out for 4-6 weeks with a broken right arm

jaylen roberts, im pretty sure he went to st.marks catholic school last year.

Yes thats him, I know him.

ya i know him too, i didnt know he played senior

lol yeah me neither until a few weeks back. Hes not doing bad either, hes averaging like 6.7 points or something, and I think he just got injured... (knee) but he'll be back before the season ends i think.

I don't know what grade Arpan is in but he's the best. Whatever the topic is, he's the best.

If you are in Gr.9 and playing on the senior team but recieving no PT it does not make sense to me. Loyola did a great thing with Ryan Wright and Nathan Duncan a couple years ago by putting them on senior from grade 9 and giving them good minutes. I think both of them actually started that year.

But I have some questions for Loyola's coaches.
Why is Jaylen playin senior he is clearly not ready and its evident by the playing time he recieves. He should be playin Junior this year and in grade 10 moving up. I understand that its a learning experience by travelling and being around the team but nothing beats actual game play.

Why isnt Nick #3 on Loyolas junior squad playing senior. I have seen him play and he could get decent minutes on the senior team. It is great that hes puttin up big numbers in junior but if he is ready to move up he should.

As far as i know Juwan played junior last year. Again I ask why? He was ready for senior last year on a mediocre senior squad last year.It is very rare that you get gr.9 ready to play senior. Kids like Jordan Henry and Ryan wright are some exceptions. Juwan was one of them aswell.

I agree with you about Jaylen. I would have loved to have had him on the Jr. team this year.

Some kids get swept away with the thought of playing Sr when they're not ready and commit to it when they shouldn't.

There were way too many returning Sr. players this year (I think 5 of the starters - now 18/19 yrs old - were returning) for Nik to play there. I think the team had 16 players on it until 3 or 4 of them quit. Although Nik could definitely play at that level and do well, I doubt he'd get the playing time he deserves.
