for a kid in toronto? prob average in the 30s for points and 10s for rebs and assists because you take that to the top notch schools in the states all of those get chopped in half probably

thats actually true in a sense

if your team doesn't win games you will have to put up unrealistic numbers to get even heard bout by a good school

but honestly play with good fundementals and skills and win your games and you will get noticed. To many players only focus on stats and cause there teams to lose, then they end up looking like selfish players and no school wants that.

Keaton Cole, Tyler Murray, and Alex Hill all recieved Division 1 scholarships while averaging under 20 points , under 10 assists, and under 10 rebounds for Eastern Commerce.

Stats should never matter. Play basketball to the best of your ability and not think about what you gotta put up in the boxscore before you have even played the game.

If you were to average 10 points 5 ast and 4 reb per game, but made all the right decisions and play lockdown defence you could still receive a scholarship offer. Too many players think it is all about what you do with the ball ie. score, pass, rebound and forget about what your off ball responsibilities are ie. setting good pics, playing help defence altering shots, talkin on defence and offence etc... Any sensible coach will look at your whole package not just at how many points you can score for him.

111 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats crazy...

but if ur really good and your coach has connections with other coaches than you will go to the states and might get some playing time in the ncaa

as long as you do everything right and have skill anyone can play in the NCAA, getting a scholarship is a differnet story, to get a scholorship you have to be one of the top in the city because this is canada. you dont necessarily need stats like one guy said 3 guys on eastern were averaging under 20pts, but if scouts come watch you and they can see that you know how to play then you have a chance. it also depends wat kinda of ncaa skool your going for if youre going for like UCLA then you have to be a pretty darn good baller, but if its like boston college or sumtin like that then i think anyone has a chance
