Yes there are early causes for concern for sure.

They need to clean things for their seven-game homestand. They can't afford not to make hay out of this!

I'll be happy with at least 5 out of 7 in this homestand... and winning tonight.

Would put them at 9-3 before they really begin a very tough stretch in the schedule.

From 3rd week of Nov through end of December the schedule is tough as it gets.

Sat in the lower bowl against the Thunder.  No KD or Westbrook and Reggie Jackson playing on one leg, but they finally overpowered that depleted squad.  Entertaining, although not much flow to the game.

Another odd game against the Celtics -- half the rebounds of their opponent but Lowry pulled it out for them.

They obviously need Amir in there for interior toughness and rebounding.  His value has been underscored in his absence.

Agree on JV -- he looks sluggish. Luckily his nose isn't broken after getting clipped by Adams.

huge win against the Griz... so what they didn't have a few guys... neither did we

gotta keep the focus to pounce on the up and coming Bucks who will be a tough match up

still not liking JV's inconsistency... you can see the lack of confidence and uncertainty in his play.

I like the way the coaches are being tough on him with his PT... time to step up JV!

I like Coach Casey's rotation this year.  He's making great use out of everyone's skills and playing 10 guys.  Guys know their roles and there is a really cohesive second unit that takes up where the first five left off.  Williams, Patterson and Vasquez give them a scoring punch off the bench. The Coach will also ride the hot hands down the stretch, which creates a little healthy competition.

I think the one potential trouble spot on this team is rebounding.  They are getting away with it but this is going to be more of an issue over time.

Amir's ankle is another concern.  They really need him in there for interior defense and rebounding.

Nice to see the crowd give Vince Carter the standing ovation during the video tribute.  Looks like they've made peace with him, which is best for all concerned.

2 out of 3 on the road out west... will take that any day!

Just when you think there might be a bit of a let down... they kick it up a notch.  Some  break in the schedule but have Cleveland twice in a week... Christmas end of December schedule is nasty.

Who woulda thunk they'd have a 6 game lead 19 games in.

Fun team to watch - even without DeRozan they score a lot of points. Unfortunately, they are now allowing a lot, too. They don't lose much with that second unit in there - Williams will be 6th man of the year, if he keeps this up.

Lowry is playing some great ball with DeRozan out. Exciting times.

Exciting for sure... hope the boys are a little more focused and bring a tighter game tonight against the Cavs... would be nice to avenge Friday's disappointing effort (and really last nights too).
