    Mississauga 65 (Jahmal Jones, 32) Brampton Centennial 58 (Ashton Howell-Stephenson, 16)

Jahmal Jones not only had 32 points but I think he ended with about 7 assists. There were a handful of scouts in attendance, and rightly so. He outscored our entire team 26-23 in the 1st half. I personally take some responsibility in not reacting earlier by double teaming him every time he got the ball. Mississauga also played really good defense. I credit my guys for playing hard and cutting the 15 point lead to 5 on numerous occasions.

Post by rerun Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:41 pm

Looks like Oakwood is number one and Loyola(Oakville) is number 2 this upcoming week. From there it gets interesting. Does Martingrove go all the way to number three or do they just move up to seven since Campion beat them? J Clarke moves up one spot switches with Pine Ridge into the number 9 spot. Pine Ridge slides two spots to eleven since Martingrove will jump back into the top ten. Northern and Metro Prep should definitely move into the honourable mention category and more than likely Vaughn Road gets bumped. That's how I see it! However, that Eastern Commerce Holiday tournament is loaded with all the top teams so it should be interesting how that plays this upcoming weekend.

All I know is that Carr should not be ranked # 1 in the next poll. I say Oakwood should get the # 1 spot with Loyola (Oakville) a close second. Carr should be # 3.

    1. Oakwood
    2. Loyola (Oakwood)
    3. Henry Carr
    4. Pickering
    5. Vaughan
    6. Eastern Commerce
    7. Martingrove
