Kevin Pangos is DISGUSTING! The kid hit about 7 straight threes against Pope. Best pure shooter Ive seen in Canada, uses his body in the post very well. Very strong on the boards and is a very good leader. IMO best player in Ontario, most likely in Canada.

Anderson should get some recognition for this. They are the best AAA team in the province, even though other players in this tourny may be comparable to the talent they have (between Pierre and Edwards), no team is as good, or better.

Congratulations to Anderson Collegiate! I've been talking about them all year as the next big team in Durham. Now, they got a big win over Laurier and have established themselves. The top five teams in Durham are tough....J Clarke with a Big win at the Guy Vetrie Tournament beating REDA and NEW Creations, Pickering, Pine Ridge, Anderson and Notre Dame too....the region looks real strong.

    ANDERSONS MY TEAMM!!!!

Anderson pulled of a nice 4th quarter performance. I don't know what was all the hype on this pangos and the boss guys. I heard they were good, but I was at both games against anderson and they did not "wow" me in any way. The stats on hooptown show high scoring games, but the teams they played are not even at the caliber of laurier or anderson. And I don't think they compare to Edwards and Pierre.

umm i think a team from oakville by the name of loyola is AAA, and if im not mistaken have already waxed anderson in a game. so before jumping the gun do some research geno23. loyola oakville is one of the top AAAA teams in the province, let alone AAA lol

I think that if Bos or Pangos had more of a supporting cast - they would shine as well.

    Bos is a strong player.
Pangos is an elite player. There are not many high school players who are given the opportunity to play with their National teams.

I hear you dak, but to be quite honest, Edwards and Pierre seem to be stronger player even on an individual basis. Bos is a great shooter and all that, but to try and put him up against Edwards, I think Edwards would come out stronger in many ways. Pangos, did not give me anything to drop my jaw about, and yea thats cool that he played for a national team and all, but there are better players that, like you said, don't get to represent. Pierre is a young guy and for his age is deserving of top 10 player in ontario no doubt, and as for Edwards I can give him the same credit.

As for rematches, Bos' team will not beat anderson any time soon. I would like to see a rematch against denison too see if there will be any changes made to game prep and defensive options. Other then that Anderson is still on top.

*note key supporting cast: Jordan Holt, Chris Pinette, Jacob Hutchcroft

No disrespect to Anderson. You guys won a couple of tournaments. To compae yourself to the top aaa team in ontario is not even close. Justin edwards is nowehre near a top 10 player. I can name 10 GUARDS off the top of my head that are better then he is. Anderson beat a # 12 ranked team. good win. I guess. But that makes you a top contender for Ontario? and don't say the silver fox because the only real teams in that were oakwood and loyola. and moore maybe. what other statement wins do you have this season?

and comparing brandon bos to justin edwards. edwards is taller, and more athletic. brandon can get up though. way better shooter. in my opinion better scorer and passer!

Brandon can shoot better than Justin, there is no comparison there, but in terms of getting to the rack to and scoring, defense, leadership and other intangibles, Edwards takes the cake. I disagree with whoever said Edwards > Pangos though, Pangos is the best amateur passer, and fundamental pg I have seen to date (although I've only seen three Denison games vs. 25+ anderson games). Pangos>Edwards>Bos

AAA lossa is fairly weak, the next best team is Wilson and they aren't very good at all (with the exception of JayJay Ireland and Teq Zwarych, who can't be mentioned in the same breath as pierre and edwards)

I completely agree, its just a credential that should be out there, they did win their region. I guess we'll just have to see when Ofsaa comes around.

Its true bos can shoot better than Edwards, but when Anderson faced Markam i watched closely and Edwards and Bos gaurded eachother the whole but in the outcome Edwards scored probaly around 23 and Bos had like 7. Edwards did shut him down and keep him under 10 pts. Vs Dennison Pangos was also struggling. I dont deny that Pangos is a phenominal player but once again he didnt go off on the anderson gaurds like he did on pope. People are saying Anderson got waxed by Loyola well that game they lost by 7 Pierre scoring 19 and Edwards with 23, mean while a apparent top Gaurd Mike L'African was gaurding Edwards. I know whitby is an easy place to play but when Pierre and Edwards face top players thier age they do go to work? Which is why i tihnk they are in the top ten in gta for their age. Anderson also faced JClarke and lost by 4 and that was their first game played and once again there was a post that said Pierre and Edwards both had 23, but if people are saying that they arnt in the top 10 then somethings wrong!
