Kevin Pangos..Tourny MVP!!
Despite a tough loss to a very strong and big Spanish team, featuring 4 imports, ( yeah that's how they do it in Europe, even at the JR. level) Kevin Pangos took home MVP honors for Team Hoop Factory.
Check out Kevin's final thoughts on the game and overall experience with The Hoop Factory Elite in Italy...
Kevin
The final day of the trip is done and we unfortunately lost in the championship game to Torrolondones Madrid (Spain). We didn't have our best first half but battled back in the second to make it a very close game. The spanish team was very physical and shot the ball extremely well to pull out the victory in the end. Overall it was a great experience for our team as most of our team was very young or inexperienced in international competition. Also the championship game was played on national t.v. in italy which was a very cool experience for everyone. I would just like to take this time to also thank Vidal who is in charge of hoopfactory and has supported us all the way through this and also given us this great opportunity. Our coaches: Ajay Sharma, Fred Grannum, Jason Dawkins and Roy Rana. They helped us all very much throughout the tournament and we couldn't wish for anything else from them. Finally the families even though they wont see this, they gave everything they had to us. Their houses, food and time to make sure our experience was special. This was an experience I will remember for the rest of my life.
Thanks
Kevin Pangos
