What a great start to the TORNEO INTERNAZIONALE JUNIORS CITTA DI LISSONE MEMORIAL GIANCARO BELLOSI. New to the international basketball scene, Jahmal Jones lead the HoopFactory team to victory defeating a strong and experienced team from PRAG. After leading at the end of the 1qtr, 17-11, Hoopfactory gave up the lead and was down at the half, the Future Starts took a half time lead, 33-28. The Future Stars team managed to maintain their lead through to the end of the 3rd Qtr, 52-49. But the young Jones had something else in mind and together with our National team player Kevin Pangos shifted into another gear to help their HoopFactory team to a 76-70 win over the FUTURE STARS from PRAG
Jahmal Jones lead all scores with 19pts, 5rebs, and 3assist; followed by Kevin Pangos with 16pts, 7rebs, and 2assist.
Game 2 Recap-GAME #2 | TIME: 10am, Sat. Apr. 3rd | HOOP FACTORY (64) vs. TRIBOLDI VANOLI CREMONA (55)
The HoopFactory team got off to a slow start and ended the first quarter down 14-15. With a blast of energy in the 2nd half, they went into the break with a 31-24 lead. After finally taking control of third quarter, 55-34, they began the fourth poised to win the game, however team TRIBOLDI VANOLI CREMONA had a different game plan and put together a 19-5 run. Despite the last quarter surge from team TRIBOLDI VANOLI CREMONA could not contain team HoopFactory who ended up winning by 9pts (64-55).
Kevin Pangos lead all scorers with 14pts, 5rebs, 3assist
Kevin Blake also poured in 10pts and 2rebs
