Canada beat the States yesterday to go 5 - 0 in the tournament.

Canada now advances to the quarter finals and plays Sunday morning at 10 am.

Brady Heslip has been shooting well through out the tournament and Jordan Bachynski seems to be playing very well. I have never seen him play, but at 7'2" he may be someone to watch for!

    Games being shown on www.fisu.tv.

Missed the game this morning, but Canada in now through to the semis.

Brady Heslip put in another 20 points. He did not shot that well, but was 12 for 12 from the line.

Triano has the team playing 2 5-man shifts (very Canadian like!)

Triano coached consistently throughout the tournament. He ran with two shifts (very Canadian like Smile) Most players had around 20 minutes of court time each game. Usually with 2 other players only getting a few minutes each.

4th place playing all players is pretty impressive! A great example to all of us coaches on how to work with a Development Team!

Forgot to mention that Canada lost to Serbia 87 - 74.

After fighting their way back into the game, Canada was outscored 26 - 11 in the 4th quarter.

Dak - thanks for your updates and commentary... I agree, a very notable and fair coaching strategy by the coaching team, one that promotes player development...
