Does anyone know what happened to Melissa Mullings from ND (Burlington) in the finals? She did not score more than six points......

Missy got in foul trouble in the first quarter, 3 of them I think, and so she sat the second quarter and most of the third. ND was still in the game at that time. When SJ started to pull away, in she went and shortly thereafter, she picked up her fourth. SJ defended her very well. She didn't have much room to maneuver but she did lead a good comeback with little time remaining. If she hadn't been in foul trouble, the game may have taken on a different complexion. Kelly Van Leuuwen slashed to the basket frequently and the defensive breakdown caused some problems for ND. It was a great defensive battle on both sides. SJ pressure defense caused the ball to go out of Missy's hands on the way up the floor. This seemed to disrupt ND's flow.

Congrats to St Johns.. what a team ..that van leuwen is a hell of a player ..the news said 4 mvps in the big tourneys. Missy got her 3rd foul with mid second quarter and came back ..mid third.. got her fourth in the final 2 of the fourth. the van leuwen kid guarded missy the whole game . St, johns had another amazing defender ===polidori...the best kid i have seen defend in a long time. that team can defend.......nice to see some one new win
