Excellent tournament the weekend of May 3-5, featuring many of the top Juvenile boys teams in the province.
The host Blessed Sacrament (Hamilton) took the gold medal, defeating Waterloo Wildhawks 55-41 in the championship game. London Ramblers beat Ottawa Guardsmen 2 62-57 to win bronze.
Etobicoke Thunder, who finished with a 4-1 record, including a round-robin win over Ottawa Guardmen 2, finished 5th.
The Thunder, Wildhawks & Guardmen 2 all finished with identical 3-1 records in the round-robin, but the Wildhawks advanced to the championship based on a superior +/- record among the three teams. Guardsmen 2 came in second after the tie-break, which relegated the Thunder to the 5th place game.
The Thunder also won the Hamilton Wildhawks tournament championship on April 28.
