Think ascension may be too high they should be 9 and slide everyone up. Ascension will be number 1 or 2 next year though. Also swap xavier and goetz.

What happened to Meadowvale? I heard all this talk about them in the preseason. Mount Carmel and Ascension should switch spots.

Meadowvale was never a top 10 team in peel. Let's face it when it comes to peels top teams we can expect to hear the same names no matter who is being talked about. D'Y, Campion, Loyola, Goetz, Xavier, Ascension and even Carmel. Outside of Xavier and Carmel the others teams have been the finalists in ROPSSAA the last 5 years. Although FX and Carmel have not won anything or made it to a final you can always expect a team ready to compete. FX two years ago beat a favoured loyola team to make it to the semis and then took DY to the wire. Carmel last year beat a heavily favoured Ascension squad by 20 in Ascensions gym( one of the hardest crowds to deal with as a visiting opponent) and lost to Goetz the eventual champions by 9. My point being these 7 schools out of 30 tier 1 schools have been the most consistent programs in peel basketball and you can always count on them to be in the top 10 in peel.

That's a good list. The first one was off tho, i don't think sandlewood should be up there, Seeing how they lost to Meadowvale In the Stephen Lewis Tourny.

goetz had been held back this year by injurys of good players. As many noe they are not the powerhouse they used to be. they jsut have a had full of quality players and a lack of depth they have just a 7 man rotation which hard. They have Tubbs back he played the first time in the MT invite but Naz was out for an ankle or foot injury and Allan had a anlke sprain/injury it is still unsure if they are gonna have a full strength squad for the Sheridan Cup. Their loses have been very horrible but they have a lot to prove, they are still a good team.

But they still have a lot to prove.

Also key match ups in the Sheridan Cup will prove a lot for other teams like Loyola,Carmel,Goetz, and Xavier

Goetz has very little time to prove anything. The season is almost finshed they have 3 games remaining.
Goetz is looking at anywhere from a 8th seed to a 12th seed in the playoffs.
The best they can finish is 3rd in the division and that is assuming they will win there next three. Erindale and Gonzaga have the ability to upset. Mississauaga and Brampton Centenial will battle for the 7th seed.

Possibilities for Goetz in the playoffs (Assuming a First round win):

8th seed - First Round home game against BCSS
    - Second Round Away at D'Youville
9th seed - First round away at BCSS
    -Secound round away at D'Youville
10th seed -First round away at Mississauga
    -Secound round away at Campion
11th seed -First round away at Carmel/ Ascension/Xavier
    -Second round away at Loyola
12th seed -First round away at Carmel/ Ascension/Xavier
-Second Round away at Carmel/ Ascension/Xavier

Goetz has definatly played themselves towards the harder route to defending there ropssa title.
Note: If Goetz makes it to the second round they will have there first away playoff game in 5 or 6 years !

The clock is ticking on Goetz!
