Lorne Park beat Erindale by 17 points on Wednesday, and beat Louise Arbour at the Central Peel Griffins Classic

16 teams make Tier 2 playoffs.
Only the top team in each division is guaranteed a playoff spot (7 spots).
The remanding 9 playoff spots will be determined by a seeding committee.
A 2nd place team cannot be seeded above the 1st place team in their own division but can be seeded above a 1st place team from another division.

Based on the criteria above, this is my opinion on how Tier 2 playoffs currently looks but there are still many key league games left to be played that could completely change all of this.

    * current division leader

    1. Brampton Centennial*
    2. Mayfield*
    3. Lorne Park*
    4. Aquinas*
    5. Erindale

    15. TL Kennedy
    16. Applewood

I don't think Bramalea will get the #1 overall seed with 2 league losses.

Suzuki has looked strong as of late with the win over Centennial and a good showing in their own tournament, could get seeded above Bramalea, could be #1 overall.

Mayfield will be a top 3 seed after finishing 8-0 in league, could get #1 overall.

I don't think Nyman can be ranked ahead of Aquinas, pretty sure Aquinas finished ahead of them in the standings due to a tie breaker.

I don't think Nyman will get seeded above a 1st place team from another division.

Chinguacousy probably wont make playoffs after finishing 4th in their division, they should as they are better than Louise Arbour, Pocock, Applewood, and many others but I don't see them getting voted in by seeding committee, no one wants to play them in the playoffs.

Don't sleep on the South West, Lorne Park, Erindale and Clarkson are all tough teams, arguably one of the toughest divisions in tier 2. Arguments can also be made for both TL Kennedy and Gonzaga over teams like Mentor College, HB, Applewood or even Humberview.

One of Centennial, Bramalea, Lorne Park or Erindale will be moved to AAA playoffs and not be in tier 2 playoffs, could even be more than one.

Harold Brathwaite should not make the playoffs.

    We will find out tomorrow

    My opinion:

    1.David Suzuki
    2.Mayfield
3.Brampton Centennial* top pick to get moved to AAA
    4.Bramalea
    5.Lorne Park
    6.Aquinas
    7.Erindale
    8.Louise Arbour
    9.Port Credit
    10.Phillip Pocock
    11.Humberview
    12.Judith Nyman
    13.Clarkson
    14.Gordon Graydon
    15.Applewood
    16.Mentor College

    Bubble teams:
    Chinguacousy* should get voted in
Glenforest* will probably get spot after teams are moved to AAA

Bear in mind that any tier 2 teams that are seeded for the 3A, 2A or 1A playoffs will not participate in the tier 2 playoffs.

    The Sweet 16!
It will be interesting to see how the division leaders do. The divisions were unbalanced in terms of number of teams and quality. Geography obviously is the main factor in determining divisions. There is a lot of importance given to league play however that only tells part of the story. Chinguacousy could probably have won 5 out 7 divisions yet they don't even make playoffs bc they finished 4th in the competitive northeast.
For future seeding I think teams should submit their full schedule for coaches to look at, exhibitions, tournament games.
Heart Lake went 0-4 in a three team division and they were in consideration...
    Should be some good games.
