Please note some key changes this year:

1. The timing of the tournament has changed (Thurs-Sat instead of Mon-Wed).
2. The playoffs on day 3 are at Mount Carmel this year.
3. Due to problems with the grandstands at Mount Carmel there will be very limited seating in the gym. This will be alleviated somewhat on the 3rd day with floor seating behind the basket in the open 3rd gym but nothing can be added on the 1st two days. Outside spectators are warned that they may not be able to gain admission to Mount Carmel on the first two days. No arguments at the door will be tolerated.

Limited seating at Carmel and the school going to put 2-4 classes from 9am to 3pm into the gym to take up majority of seating and nothing to complain about? If i'm left without a seat due to this situation, lower it to $3

Admission applies after school hours. No one is forced to attend the tournament but, if they do, the fee is $5 and we are not interested in arguments at the door.

Curious about Carmel location I have been asked why admission might not be allowed for Thursday n friday. How will parents know if they are or not? So I can relay the answer

Admission will be based on available space at any given time. Unfortunately that's the only honest answer I can give since we aren't going to be able to provide constant updates that could be inaccurate within a few minutes.

13 out of the 16 teams are from Peel... crazy.

Why are two of the three of the non peel schools in the same division? Xavier and Emery have already played this year? correct?

I think Roch is the favourite to win.... Going to be a great tournament once again.

Divisions are also based on scheduling requests.

Despite the obvious variables do you think if the winner is 1 of the Peel schools, they will win ROPSSAA??
