Congrats to Vaughan on winning the tournament.

High school teams cannot compete with Prep schools in Ontario.....

I respectfully disagree with you Prime Time. Did you see Vaughn play this weekend? You don't think they can COMPETE with the Prep Schools. They definitely can compete with them and beat some of them. Vaughn already beat one prep school team Clarkson Prep quite easily in the Vaughn Holiday Classic even though the Vaughn team is a lot younger and less athletic. I believe they beat them by around 20 points.

Both Pine Ridge and Henry Carr have beaten BTB Prep this year. Henry Carr even has a win over the Athletic Institute in Orangeville but I heard that Thon Makur didn't play in that game but the rest of the line up seemed to be there. You're right 99% of the high schools can't compete with the Ontario Prep Schools but the top five GTA team can for sure.

Thon didnt play vs FHC back in October thats true, FHC won and have shown true grit in games with him in it. BTB Prep/Clarkson are the smaller of the prep teams not getting enough respect by a few people have been known not to do well and times have battled their ass off.

Primetime needs to check OSBA standings, FHC has lost to SJK, it happens. SJK at this current moment was the worst in the prep league and now got worse with the loss of Liam Courtney to Missouri (Chaminade).

BTB prep lost a very close game to AI with Thon so anything is possible, home crowd, travel time, player not playing due to injury/sick. The ball is round and does bounce mysteriously.

Vaughan was close to be in the OSBA, i dont know the particulars of what happened. I hope they get 3+ more schools added to it next yr like Clarkson, Vaughan, SMC, etc...

Don't know about the MVP choice.
Maybe I need to watch the final game again, but I saw 3/4 turnovers in the first half by the PG, and not much more. The aggressiveness of the 2 other Vaughan guards were unparalleled, and they seemed unstoppable and ultimately won it for them.
