Reminder to everyone that Etobicoke Thunder’s U16 Major Midget 1 team will be holding tryouts this weekend, Saturday, September 17th and Sunday, September 18th between 3pm to 5pm. We will be playing out of Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus (link to directions found below). Please plan to arrive 30 minutes ahead of time so that you have registered and are ready to begin at 3pm.
Last year our Thunder team finished their OBA season fourth in the province in D1. We look to improve on those results this year with your help. We are planning to play in two leagues this year, host two tournaments and play games out of province and in the US. All team members will also be eligible to play AAU tournaments with us next summer season.
Please note that we have a $10 entrance fee for our tryout and that guarantees you access to the gym for Saturday’s tryout. Sunday and any subsequent tryout evenings will be free but based on Coaches invite only.
