Newmarket over St. Theresa tonight. A well-played game by both teams, and close the entire time. Some questionable calls throughout the game by the both members of the referee team (i.e. Newmarket went to the line 23 times, we went 3!), but that's basketball!!

Congratulations to Newmarket and best of luck in the finals. Newmarket is a great squad, with classy players who really know the game of basketball well!
Coach classy as always! Sometimes the calls just aren't there for you.

Hard to comprehend all you can do is move on! Great season and things are looking up in York region for sure.
Vaughn, Newmarket, St. Theresa of Liseux and Sacred Heart:

Just interested who you think is the best-worst, like 1-4...and maybe top 10 or top 15 players left...tell me what you think....

In my opinion: 1. Vaughn 2. Newmarket/St. Theresa 3. Sacred
and as for players:
1. Cy-Vaughn
1. Joseph- Newmarket
2. Malik- STL
3. Dinjyl-Vaughn
4. Brett-Newmarket
5. Jordan-STL

7. Henry-Vaughn
8. Joey-Sacred

Dinjyl Walker 3d? the lowest he should be is 2nd... he made team Ontario, which tells you something. who else on this list made team Ontario. Only Cy is better then him, you got to move up D. Walker

Coach Imgrund

Newmarket over St. Theresa tonight. A well-played game by both teams, and close the entire timeSome questionable calls throughout the game by the both members of the referee team (i.e. Newmarket went to the line 23 times, we went 3!), but that's basketball!!

We all know at the end of the day Officials can dictate a game, but as a Coach we must Coach around it and do not allow those Officials to dictate your ultimate goal. Lets not use the Ref excuse for a lost. Things happen at times that we have no control of, but I am sure you had a great season and the way it looks your kids had a great season. As Coach Bob stated. York Region is Stepping up..

THE FINALS

Well, Newmarket is a role playing some tough Playoff games to get where they are now, it will be interesting on the game plan for Vaughan. Both teams look great and playing great ball.

Good luck to Both Teams on Thursday!

Vaughan was able to beat Newmarket by 30, 91-61 in their previous game so I really don't see how Newmarket could win this time. The Vaughan team is on a mission to prove their the best, by destroying Sacred Heart you can see that in the finals Vaughan is going to be relentless. I say Vaughan by 30 again, because of the fact that neither team will have home court here, and that when they played previously it was at Newmarket.

Unfortunately

Its nice to see there is opinions and different favorites, but differently, I just cant see Newmarket holding up against Vaughan.
SJB4 you have stated:

"i tink 2 manny ppl are underestimatin newmarkt based on a bad game, vaughn deserved that game but for anyone that was there, it waz almst tied at half, round 10 after the 3rd, markett can play witem"

Brebeuf had a chance to beat Vaughan, and only lost by 2 points, No disrespect, they are not in the Championship game, and thats the only school who somewhat gave them a run, even after a bad game

Newmarket, great team in the York region and yes up and coming, but unfortunately, Vaughan has been all over this year tournament with the Big top 10 and made it out 2nd and consistently. Again, not here to take away from any program, because anything can happen, bt after hearing what Vaughan did after so much talk about Scared hmmmm i dont know

Good Luck to all

Prediction: Vaughan SS

A game is played full 32 minutes and doesnt stop in the 3rd or 4th quarter, so your point they were in the game in the 3rd quarter, is not good enough, you have to finish what you start! and they will have serious issues with Vaughan, guaranteed, I will be back here looking for you Thursday night

Vaughan by 35+ - These guys are not playing around at all -

If the 2 Coaches are there for Vaughan its Over, I have seen them with and without 2 coaches, 2 different teams!
