The Eastern Commerce Jr. Saints will finish the year with a tournament in Nova Scotia from April 15 to April 21. Over March break, Eastern hosted the North Preston Bulls team. While in Toronto, the teams played in the Eastern Commerce one day tournament and North Preston played an exhibition game against John Innis.
This exchange allows young men to compete in the game of basketball and grow as individuals from interaction with teens in other parts of the country.
The team and coaches had a great time with the Nova Scotia group and are looking forward to some wonderful Maritime hospitality. I would just like to publicly thanks East Metro Youth Services, East Scar. Boys and Girls Club, Seneca Residence, Yonge Street Mission, Karim Grant and all the parents who helped to make this a successful exchange.
