Durham College basketball star attends the Toronto Raptors pre-draft workout!!!
After a record breaking five year career with the Durham College men’s basketball team in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA), Anthony Batchelor had an opportunity of a lifetime this past week as he recently attended the Toronto Raptors pre-draft workout!!!
“Working out with the Toronto Raptors is a terrific opportunity for the OCAA's all-time leading scorer,” commented Ken Babcock, Durham College Athletic Director. “During his five year career at Durham, Anthony proved to be a special person on and off the court. Everyone at Durham knows that he will go on to do great things following his successful career with the Lords.”

This past year, Batchelor ended his career with the Durham Lords as the OCAA all-time leading scorer. In five seasons at Durham College he compiled 1,833 points, smashing the long standing record of 1,434 points which was set back in 1986 by Emilio Rocco of the Fanshawe Falcons.
Babcock further commented: “It certainly shows the high caliber of talent the College basketball system in Ontario is producing. It is a wonderful experience for Anthony to be around an NBA program, their coaches, and amazing facilities.”
