Try-out dates have been set for our MDP Central East Boys basketball team. We start this upcoming Sunday 4pm at Pope in Scarborough.
1st Try-out; Sunday May 31, 4pm - 6:30pm @ Pope John Paul II C.S.S. 685 Military Trail (North of Morningside and Ellesmere).
2nd Try-out; Tuesday June 2, 6:30pm - 8:30PM) @ St. Patrick C.S.S. 49 Felstead Ave (South of Danforth off Greenwood).
Final try-out; Saturday June 6, 2pm - 4:30pm @ David & Mary Thomson C.I. (back gym). 2740 Lawrence ave East (East of Kennedy on Lawrence).
All players must attend at least one of the first two try-outs, AND the Final try-out to be considered for the team. The Final Try-out will be by invite only.
Remember there is a $25 try-out fee for all players, which includes a Ontario Basketball MDP t-shirt. You can register online at basketball.on.ca. If you do register online print your receipt and bring it to the try-out.
Or just bring $25 and your identification to the try-out and register at that time.
We'll be training through June and July, and participate in the Ontario Basketball MDP Camp July 12 - 16 at Humber College. We'll also look for exhibition games and possibly tournaments leading up to the camp.
Share this info with any players, friends, or parents who are eligible (Under 15 years as of January 1st 2009, living in the Central East Region).
