The fact that Blues had to face the #1 seeded Blessed Sacrament-1 team again in the Junior Boys semi-final round is a serious flaw in the Provincial Championship format.

Why do the teams cross back against a winner from their own pool?

There were two other semi-finalists - Wildhawk Basketball -1 and JAMBA who we had not yet faced in the Championship.

Why then were we asked to play a team that we had already faced in Pool Play?

Congrats to the Scarborough Blues for Representing Toronto and bringing home the Gold!

With a backcourt of Corey Joseph, Ashton Khan and Norman Penola and a frontcourt of Mo Walker and Ancil Martin you guys definitely had a solid squad that did a great job in bringing home the Championship to T-Dot!

    Congrats...

    Thanks Coach!

I think you are aware of the struggles we had getting our guys on-task. Its unbelievable how things fell into place once we reached the playoffs!

Coach, I see that in the "hang-over" game, Matthew Wright had a 26 point game. What do you think of his him as a player, is he up there when talking about Ashton or Corey? Also what was the main obstacle you guys faced agianst the Waterloo team? What school were those players from?

Matthew is an outstanding player. He is one of the best guards in the Province.
The biggest problem with Wildhawks was we could not put this team away. They were feeding off the energy of the crowd and answering everything we put up.

They came from London, Kitchener, Waterloo basically from all over the area. No two players from any single school other than Beal. I believe Rim Park is their home gym.

This has been re-edited to include two key foul shots by Ashton Khan.

School was over at Findlay. He came back on May 24.

He played with Blues since he was seven yrs. old. We had two practices and everything clicked in!

Oh ok. Wow, two practices. I bet alot of coaches wished their teams clicked in that amount of time. Congratulations to the Blues.

Our season was a huge struggle we thought it was over when we lost our Pool game to Blessed.

This team has always been winners and once we got to the medal round it was familiar turf. I did not mean to make it sound easy. Quite the contrary.

OT and a one-point win that's far from easy! No
