Huron Heights 1 day Tournament Nov.5 (New Market)

I believe Pickering is playing at this tournament, which is one of the earliest tournaments out there 1 day before the Henry Carr Early Bird. I'm just wondering what other teams are participating?

Participating teams: Matingrove, Westview, West Humber, Brother Andre, Bracebridge, Allan McNab, Huron Hts, Pickering

Huron Heights One Day Tournament
November 5, 2008

First Round:
9:45am - Martingrove vs. Westview
9:45am - West Humber vs. Brother Andre
11:00am - Bracebridge vs. Allan McNab
11:00am - Huron vs. Pickering

Final at 3:00pm

Some good up and coming sleeper teams (West Humber and Westview), a two time OFFSAA champ (Pickering),a solid top 10 team (Martingrove) and a school that had a very strong Junior team last year (Brother Andre)makes this a very unpredictable tournament to watch. I really like Westview to make some noise if most of their top players are back. West Humber is in the same boat. Should be a great tournament to watch. Pickering is certainly the team to beat.

which team will have the chance to go after Pickering?

West Humber is hungry and will go after Grove. Should be intence

I can see Martingrove and West Humber Toronto West rivals. This should be an early indication on where both teams stand. Silencing all the smack talking(part of the game)

At the same time i dont see any of these teams upseting Pickering. A tip to all the other teams go after the top dog and not after ur division rivals who are not expected to win the tourney.

I doubt Pickeirng High is bringing their full. They'll probably bring the 2 team.

I doubt that, Pickering won't want to lose any games that jepordize there record come OFSAA time.

They will need the chance for their guys to develop some chemistry. They have had a number of changes.
