These guys are Top Ten????? and ranked ahead of a team that beat them by 36 points????

Friday October 10th: St. Thomas Aquinas (Brampton) 56 - Notre Dame (Brampton) 20 in an exhibition game.

That is why I wish he would stop making a mockery of this. A top ten is something that should be exciting for coaches and their players to see themselves in but the Star is a joke.
I also get a kick out of the points that are placed with the ranking.The number one team( Notre Dame/Ajax) has 212 points while #10 (Notre Dame/Brampton) has 188. These teams are not that close.
It is amazing that he has D'Youville as undefeated yet is not number 1 and Michael Power is ranked ahead of Ascension. I know that the records are incorrect but I was just making a point.
I will once again state that if you are getting paid to do High School Sports, which Grossman is, then put a good effort in and stop being stubborn. Read Hooptown, contact coaches, officials and post the freakin tournaments even if they do not have every score.
I watch Rogers coverage of High School Sports. I will admit that the announcers are a little lacking in knowledge but they get excited when there are big plays and for that I give credit. They cover the sports with pride and the announcer never hesitates to give credit to players, announce their plans after high school and just try as best they can to make high school sports important. They get paid and act like they love the sports. Why does Grossman act so aloof?
I notice that Grossman doesn't hesitate to bring up negative stuff when he hosted the High school show on Sundays. Again, I am giving my opinion because I want to see these kids feel great when they open up the paper or watch the television. There is no reason why we can't do more. It is sad that the Toronto Sun coverage of high school sports has gone in the toilet. Anybody know why? I remember a guy named Frank Zaccerelli or something like that giving coverage in the Sun.

Frank was great..he actually did a story on one of my club players...Frank mentioned there was simply a lack of interest...though I appreciate any coverage HS sports gets (even as inaccurate as it may seem) I do miss having the Sun...
