Congrats to Downsview; they were definitely the class of the tournament. My only criticism would be the temperament of the coach. Based on what I saw in two games at Carmel, he needs to calm down quickly or he is going to get teed up all night long at OFSAA. I'm surprised the refs at the Rimrocker didn't nail him a few times for jawing even after he had been told to zip it. He would even walk out on to the court to yell at them. Not what one would expect from an experienced coach with a team that are probably provincial final four contenders at the AAA level.

yes I must say congratz to Downsview and I know that they will go far...but the Coach's temperment was not as disgusting as the Aquinas point gaurd screaming at her teammates as she was leading them to hell..She made most of the mistakes in that game..Cassandra Nofuente basically walked around her and scored .I'm not sure if Aquinas pointgaurd (20) knows what it is to be a point...

...and I know its just highschool basketball but I wish that girls had the invested intrest put into them like the boys...they need coaches that really know the game...

Downsview is lucky to have a coach like Devon Thompson he is passionate with boys as he is with the girls

My team was at AA OFSAA last year and saw Downsview play a couple times. They were extremely hard working and well coached. Coach Thompson was never disrespectful to officials- and believe me from some calls I saw he had the opportunity.
