    Round 1
Maple over Unionville by at least 25-30 points. This will be ugly.

Huron Heights over Kipling by 5. Should be a good game. Huron has a couple of talented players and Kipling is very well coached.

Aquinas over Thomson by 20. Aquinas decided to go into Halton Tier 2 and is currently beating down opponents by 40 points. One of the reasons I hate pre set tiered systems is examples exactly like this. Thomson is in Toronto East Tier 1 but clearly deserves to be in Tier 2. They lost to Father Goetz by 62 points last week. Ugh!

Western Tech over Etobicoke by 15

Maple over Huron by 7-8 and Aquinas over Western by 5. Maple to win tourny.

Game of the weekend will be Unionville/Thomson for 7th place as both teams will be playing for their first and possibly only win of the season.

First of all, congratulations to Thomson on winning the 7th place championship over Unionville. This will be their only victory all season.
In terms of Aquanis, it is shameful that if this is the Halton region school, they decided to play in Tier 2. I will say this over and over again. There should NEVER be pre-determined tiers as teams such as this decide to take the coward route. I have no respect for a school to go in Tier 2 to pancake everybody but run away from Tier 1.Bramalea and Chinguacousy as well as MacDonald ( Toronto East) can all be accused of this. Look at the scores that these teams win by in Tier 2.
Teams should play games against teams in their own region and then be reassigned to either Tier 1 or Tier 2. Just to show my point:
Bramalea is 4-0 and has won their four games by 14, 19, 38 and 38.
Chinguacousy is 3-0 and has won their three games by 26, 34 and 48.
Hey at least they have to play one another at some point in their league or will they both forfeit out of fear of competition?
MacDonald- So far they have won their league games by 34 and 36 points.

Just for good measure St Thomas Aquanis has won their 4 Tier 2 Halton League games by 21, 33, 36 and 40 points. Disgusting!

To these coaches, schools go into Tier 2 to not be destroyed by the likes of scores like these. This is why they do not play in the same Tier as the likes of Eastern Commerce, Vaughn etc.
The catholic league is the only GTA league that I can think of so far that does not place teams in Tiers. You have the 6 team super division but that is considered the highest division. In the catholic league, teams play the schools in their region. No original Tiers. This is how it should be done.

I heard that Maple did a great job hosting and I have to concur just by the way scores were updated quickly and properly. Maybe Imgrund can find the time to update the scores of his tournament a month ago.
