In my opinion this 20 would be the strongest selection or candidates for the U15 Team Ontario this summer but I feel there maybe some kids missing from around the province. A few in the Ottawa area, and possibly Hamilton and Windsor. But these are the strongest Grade 9's I've seen this year. Very strong 2014/15 class in the future.

Nice list, but as you mentioned, there are some others that deserve consideration. Anyone know when/where the TEAM ONTARIO U15 tryouts are?

From the kids I've seen on the list above, they all deserve to be there and it looks like the making of a great team.

I would like to add two grade nines from my team that have earned some all-star awards this year:

Jamal Reason - 6'2" G/F
Spencer Thomas - 6'0" G

At the very least, these two young men should have earned themselves an invite to try-outs! Yes, I know i'm boosting two of my own players, but that's my job sometimes

Those two are most definitely strong candidates and have had a great season this year! I really see the improvement in Spencer Thomas.

Kareem South from Senator O'Connor is a very strong guard, should definitely be on that list

Team ontario tryouts are most likely april of this year

The try-out dates and locations are usually posted on the Ontario Basketball website as soon as they are available.

I too would have to mention one of my own players at Mother Teresa. Malik Skeete is now tied for fifth most 25 point games. He now has seven including three thirty point games.

He is flat-out a top-flight scorer. He is a monster on the offensive glass I can think of few who are in his class from that aspect as well!

I'll speak out and say it was an over site in regards to Malik. Everyone knows he's one of the top grade 9 players and deserving of it.

Malik is not what you might call a pretty player which is why he may be overlooked a little.

Still he can put it down with authority and no one outworks him at the offensive end! I just want to see him get his due.

There are some pretty good players in grade 8 that have a shot at making the U-15. 6'6" Justin Jackson for example.

When are the U-15 tryouts? All the other age groups have their's posted.
