honestly the majority of the people on this forum probably haven't heard of markville, nor cares, go beat Vaughan then you'll get respect. im not trying to be mean but just truthful

Wow, placing 11th in York Region. Did they tie a bunch of other teams for that rank? how many leauge games did they win for that lofty honour, 1, 2 or 3?

Personally I'm not impressed with the playoff format used in York Region. It really needs to change. When the playoffs begin, you will eventually see why.

Our playoff format is both good and bad. I would to keep the way we play to determine Tier 1 & 2. Hopefully in the future we can find a way to merge the old playoff format with the new one in order to balance the playoff bracket. As of right now we are split into zones and all the winners of zone play end up on one side of the bracket. It works out numerically but not strength wise. I don't know what the answer will be in the future but hopefully it is something that make our playoff as competitive as can be.
