I see a George Harvey/Pine Ridge final, (depending on the tournament draw) It would be probably be a close game, seeing how George Harvey's conducted themselves against elite competition thus far.

i also see george harvey and pine ridge doing well in this tournament but dont sleep on naci and bosco too

Interesting to how they conduct themselfs, while other teams go at them to get into the Super16

Pine Ridge beat North Albion today the score was 70 to 55 pine Ridge is looking really nice i don't know how they lost to some sus teams but the way Pine Ridge is playing they should win this tournament.

who's on NACI dats greezy?

They lost because to some sus teams because they graduated 4 out of starters from last years team. Last years team had also had several fifth year players...this years team has one. Finally, the Pine Ridge volleyball team made it to bronze medal match at the 2008 OFSAA Volleyball Championships in Barrie this past weekend. SO two key players were not available to play until yesterday against North Albion. From here on in Pine RIdge will have their actual starting rotation in place.

I first just wanted to congratulate West Humber on a great tournament! Our boys had a fantastic time and played in some very competitive games!

I second wanted to congratulate George Harvey on winning the championship game it was a great game right down to the final seconds! I wish you guys the best of luck this season!

I also wanted to congratulate Don Bosco!! You guys played with great heart and determination. You guys represented your school so well and showed that you guys have come such a long way in the last 3 years. I am looking forward to a great year!

george harvey did real good at this tourney styll....congrats to them and thier coach....
wats your guys...opinion on NACI tho ???
how do you think they did in the tourney as in thier overall gameplay ???

North Albion has a good team. It was their first game action all season so I think that they performed well taking that into consideration. Teams such as George Harvey, West Humber and Pine Ridge have played at least 7 or 8 games already so they are much more settled in and familiar with each other. NACI is really athletic, but, they just shoot to many bad 3 point shots. If they are having a great shooting day and those shots drop, then watch out....they'll blow teams out. However, if they don't then they'll drop games to the better more discilpined teams. NACI will be on the cusp of the top 20 teams in the GTA if they can improve upon their team defense and their shot selection.

In my opinion, NACI could have won this tournament if they had a little more game experience, but, they still won the consolation title their first time out. NACI is 2-1 on the season. If North Albion played a better second half against Pine Ridge they could have gone all the way. Unfortunately, they faced Pine Ridge at full strength and just didn't have enough. If they faced them on Friday when they were short again, they would have pulled it out. They should do well in the Toronto West Division for certain.

NACI played really well in the first half against Pine Ridge and then again on Friday against Boylen (I missed their previous game)... but as rerun said...they shoot far too many threes, which was their achilles heel against PR... the other problem I had with them was they seemed to play selfish at times... if they get the right offensive system in place, look out cause they could really do damage with their speed and athleticism. Defensively they had a great full court trap, but tended to get beat in the half court, so when they face a team that can break a press...they will have trouble... I still don't think they would have beaten PR, as they are just too disciplined and NACI had no answer for their point guard #23 and #43 (who is a monster)... Pine Ridge just made them play a half court game in the second half and pulled away...
