A brief article in the Mississauga News this evening: Rimrocker kicks off tonight

A nice evening for Peel teams so far. Realistically there was an outisde chance for them to go 0-8 today and, if I was a betting man, I would have predicted 2 wins by Peel teams at the most today. As it stands, they have four wins in six games so far and I figure they should win at least one more.

The biggest upset so far was Joan of Arc over Dunbarton. While Dunbarton is not the #1 team in Durham, they are still one of the top few. Meanwhile, Joan of Arc had not done anything to make me think they would win even a single game.

BCSS over Martingrove is an upset but not as big of one as some might think. One reason is that they are underrated in my opinion and should be final four in Peel with a shot of winning the title. At the same time, Martingrove is a very tired team after so many tournaments in such a short time, including the Holiday Classic this past weekend.

So you used point differential involving games among the 3 tied teams in Group B.

For example BCSS was + 18 vs. Martingrove and -1 vs. Ascension to give them +17.
