Those teams, as well as Bill Crothers, are one of the elite teams in the entire GTA. As mentioned before, we are trying to compete and come out on top in our regional bracket (East 1).

Bur Oak also has a loss, but it is no posted here (as per the YRAA standings). The 3 wins are not against anyone good.

I actually saw Auns Chaudry play yesterday. solid but undersize big man.

Coached against Bur Oak tonight. Bur Oak won.
Mr. Chaudry had another 20 point night. He is a good shooter who makes smart decisions with the ball and anticipates well on their press. He seemed to be a classy kid, plays hard, and respects the game.
In my opinion, they are a pretty well-rounded team.
Bur Oak's loss was against a talented team - Brother Andre. One of the Eastern Commerce junior coaches commented on how impressed he was with Brother Andre when they played them this earlier this year.
Anyway, Bur Oak will not "tear it up in the YRAA", but I think that they may be in the top 10 and may surprise some teams.
Bur Oak will now go tier 1 (after finishing 2nd in their division round robin). Next week they will have a "cross-over" game against Middlefield (who lost to Bill Crothers by 21). The winner will play another round robin against the other YRAA winners of the second place "cross-over" games and the loser against the other losers of the second place "cross-over" game.

Early turnovers had Bur Oak down early. Bur Oak went on a run to cut the lead to 12 in the beginning of the fourth quarter, but Middlefield pulled away and sealed the win. Great game played by Middlefield, this will hopefully be a wake-up call for Bur Oak, the challenge is only going to get tougher.

Six years later ... just watched Auns Chaudry play a great game for George Brown College.
The high-character, effort, and hustle that he displayed early in high school remains and it has definitely served him well!
