Bballdog writing a post like this and then say you are not knocking St. Mary's is contradictive. You called them a mediocre team and saying that they are "probably 4th ranked behind Pineridege". There is an old saying that goes like this. "Don't count your chickens before they are hatched". I think based and what you have written is exactly what you are doing.

The season is still fairly young with a lot of basketball to be played. I think that you believe they are not in the league of J.Clarke, Pineridge or Notre Dame. I can't speak of yesterday's game becuase I wasn't there, but I heard last week that some of there key players were injured. I think they have to be 100% to beat either of the three teams I mentioned earlier. I am not making any excuses for them, but if they don't have thier top players healthy and playing on the road will prove to be a disadvantatge.

I did not see yesterday's game but by reading the score it seems as if there performance was mediocre at best. It appears that two of their top scorers were help to single digits and credit must be given to J. Clarke's coach and the players for shutting down Mary's top scorers.

However, I am confident that Mary's has a good team that will be ready to avenge those losses to both J. Clarke and Notre Dame.

Let's wait and see and stop writing St. Mary's obituary.

Yes St. Mary's is a good team but I personally dont think they got what it takes to beat Jclarke or Notre Dame even with all payers at 100% I think both teams are stronger after seeing them all play but i do think St Marys is better then Pine Ridge. But who knows anythings possible.

That game took place in December. If memory serves me correct, Jonathan Tull injured one of his fingers on his shooting hand and I don't know about ROB G. However, that's old news now...they're both fine.

Gagliardi played out of Hamilton. That NEDA thing (National Elite Development Academy).
I think he is supposed to go to Notre Dame (an Honourable Mention team) but is at Pickering, cause I guess his parents or he decided that would be a better program for his development.
Again, with Parfitt gone, I'm not sure why they thought that since Notre Dame has been steadily getting stronger and it is his home school.
Imagine him and Norman Penola going to work? Top 10 team for sure.

Robert was here in his Grade 11 year but was ineligible because he transfered from Sinclair and still lived in whitby. He then transferred again to NEDA and then transferred to Pickering for his fifth year. We hoped he would come back here but I guess PK offered more of something that we don't have. In the time that has passed Rob has garnered a D1 scholarship at Cannisius(sp?) in the states.

on a side note - ND will probably play PK in the semis of LOSSA in two weeks which should be interesting.

NDcoach is Donaldson Brothers 'Damone and Damal' the main guys on the team. these guys are the reasons why Notre Dame are in the Top 16 Teams in the GTA. And won several tournaments. and i heard Norman Penola is going to the philippines for 2 weeks? and is going to miss playoffs?. can you please confirm.

Pickering's season is not over - they can still play all their LOSSA regular season and playoff games. They just can't compete at OFSAA as of right now - they are appealing this I think???

The donaldson's are two players on our team and they do contribute as does penola. However you don't win 30+ games with only a few players contributing. ND is a strong team with a good bench and they work hard on defense all game.

penola to the phillipines???? why would he do that? national team tryouts maybe, university of phillipines scholly?? I'll have to talk to him to figure that one out cyclops
