LOSSA League Scores (Durham Region)

Pickering defeated us (Notre Dame) in an exciting game. I also forgot the scoresheet after a crazy game (I would guess a 6 or 8 point game). I am very proud of my Notre Dame team. We fought hard throughout the game, led for most of it but couldn't finish. Although I am disappointed with the loss there is no shame in losing to a top fight team like Pickering.

Congratulations on a great season Coach! We always enjoyed playing you (even though we always lost ;-) I would have loved to see 2 of the top teams in the GTA go at it. If you want to bring up a motion at the coaches' meeting re: seeding teams after the regular season, I'd be happy to support it.

Coach Dougall and Coach White both have run excellent programs and I think they have had a great year. I agree with the reseeding of teams motion etc...and I also think the fact that certain schools only had 6 regular season games while others had ten also seems inequitable and should be addressed.
We indeed did have a semi final game against Dunbarton today and I was very proud of my boys for their team spirit, sportsmanship and hard play. Dunbarton played a great hustle game and I will be cheering them on in the finals.
I look forward to next year as I expect it will be a fabulous season because as someone mentioned above#23 Jamal Reynolds and #3 Tevin DaCosta are great shooters and they are both only in Grade 9 So as I cheer you on for a great finals this year I have one simple message for next year:

WE'LL BE READY - BRING IT

Thanks Coach England. I agree the schedule was a little wonky. Someone I spoke to...I can't remember whom right now...suggested a tier one and two Durham league. That might be an answer. Including exhibition and tournament we played St. Mary's 5 times this year! Like them, your team really seemed to peak at the right time. I'd say we got out of your gym with a tough win...those two kids will really help matters next year...just make sure Cam doesn't steal them for the senior team :-)

hahah very funny Coach Dougall, but not to worry about Cam, he knows he can't steal them from me!!!!Those boys will be back for the team next year and we can't wait. I'm really pleased to see that things are alot more balanced out this year with so many of our Durham teams-it makes the season so much more exciting. I heard the finals was a great event to watch. Enjoy your down time from basketball-I know my guys still have not left me alone! Cheers
