Grassroots AAU Tryouts Saturday 3rd & 10th March

It's that time again, the anticipated start of the 2012 AAU season. Grassroots continues to be one of the most recognizable AAU programs in North America. Did you know that both Tristan Thompson and Cory Joesph played for Grassroots? On June 23, 2011,the former Grassroots Canada standouts made Canadian basketball history by both being selected in the first round of the NBA draft lottery. Tristan Thompson, of Brampton, ON, was selected 4th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers, who utilized their 2nd pick to draft Thompson right after Kyrie Irving. Cory Joseph, of Pickering, ON, was selected 29th overall by the San Antonio Spurs, who used their first pick to draft Joseph.

10U-12U===11:00AM-12:30PM

13U-14U===12:30PM-2:00PM

15U-16U===2:00PM-3:300PM

17U-18U===3:300PM-5:300PM

Despite the fact that we're looking for the best talent across Canada, we encourage all players interest to attend. You'll have the opportunity to learn and compete at the highest level for your age group. Coach Ro Russell will be in attendance to evaluate all players so bring your A game

is the 97 kids 15u or 14u

do you know approximately how many tournaments the 14u will participate in?

The fee represents the tryout charge that allows players to participate as well as they receive a Grassroots T shirt. Boy born 1997 are 14U, and they will be participating in approximately 5 to 6 tournaments. Thanking you in advance for your interest and we look forward to seeing you all.
