    Laurier beat Markham by 19

Markham was missing 2 starters to injury, Brandon Bos and Mike Forbes weren't dressed. Disappointing loss for the defending champs.

    Xavier wins the Holiday Clash.

They defeated St. Theresa by 4 or 5 in the semi-finals and beat Laurier by 35 in the final.

This was Xavier's third straight tournament championship, after winning in St. Catharine's two weeks ago and Kitchener last weekend.

I've hinted it before but now I'll come right out and say it:

Xavier should not have been dropped from the top-16. Their two losses in the first tournament were very simple: They were missing almost all of their starters. It might be seen as an excuse but it's that simple. Since then they're undefeated and, looking at their wins, they've beaten a few teams either in the top 16 or HM, as well as some top teams from outside the GTA.
